THE HILLTOP STORY
Hilltop Church was pioneered by Pastor Brandon and Katie Beaman in 2018. From the very beginning, the desire was to see peoples’ lives transformed by the love of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. Communicating the transforming power of the Gospel through clear Biblical teaching and creativity. At the first gathering only 12 people were present, but that small group of people planted a seed of faith that has grown into an incredible move of God that has far exceeded what anyone could have anticipated in such a short time.
Though the church has grown and the dreams for the future are big, the focus is intentionally small – we live by the motto “More Than Sunday.” We believe your faith should permeate everything you do and all that you are. That means living for Jesus and living life with God’s people all week long. We believe life happens in the context of community. As our church grows, we must focus on building community through Hilltop Crews.

OUR PASTORS
Brandon and Katie Beaman pioneered Hilltop Church in 2018 with the help of 12 amazing individuals. Hilltop started as a dream God gave our pastors back in 2013. That dream has now grown under their leadership into a thriving, spirit-filled church family. Brandon and Katie have spent the last 15 years devoting themselves to helping people find hope and healing through the preaching of the Gospel.
God has used them in many different forms of ministry through out their over 15 years of ministry experience. They have had the privilege to work in youth ministry, young adult ministry, children’s ministry and even as Retirement Center Chaplins.
Our Pastors believe in Central Iowa. They believe that God has huge plans for the Heartland. Pastor Brandon often says, “We are here to make healthy disciples that make healthy disciples.”
WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU GET HERE
As you arrive, our Greeting Team will be there to welcome you to church! Simply walk down the hallway as you enter our main doors, and you’ll find our Guest Connections booth, where we can provide you with all the information you need about Hilltop, along with a special gift for you!
On your left, you'll see our Hilltop Kids check-in area, where you can securely check in your children for our engaging Hilltop Kids services.
To the right of the check-in, enjoy free coffee as you head into our auditorium for our adult services.
Restrooms are located straight down the hallway as you exit the auditorium, with changing tables available in both the men's and women's restrooms.
HOW TO CHECK-IN YOUR KIDDOS
At Hilltop Church, we offer fun and engaging kids' programs, all centered around solid biblical teaching, for children from 12 months to 5th grade.
When you arrive, you'll find the Hilltop Kids check-in area to your left in the lobby. Simply enter your phone number, and a set of stickers will print out—one for you and one for your child. Place the name tag on your child and keep the matching sticker to pick them up after the service.
Elementary-aged children will stay in the same room as the Hilltop Kids check-in area, while toddlers and preschool-aged kids will head to classrooms to the right of the auditorium. For your convenience and your child’s safety, all kids' classrooms are located just outside the auditorium.
After the service, simply show the Hilltop Kids Team your sticker, and you’ll be able to pick up your child. If we need to contact you during the service, our check-in system will send a text alerting you to come to the classroom.
For the safety of all children at Hilltop Church, if you lose your corresponding sticker, we kindly ask that you wait until last to pick up your child. A Hilltop Kids Team member will then verify your identity. While we understand this may be a bit inconvenient, we hope you agree that it’s important to ensure each child is safely reunited with the correct parent or guardian.
